Busy Months

Wow!  I haven't blogged for a while.  Let's see....what happened?  In January, we celebrated Collin's 10th birthday with a party with friends from school.  He invited 8ish boys and all 8ish showed up (is it bad that I don't remember how many kids he invited?).  I think everyone had a fun time, too.  One little boy hurt his ankle when they were playing tag, so he had to go home early.  I felt really bad for him :(  The boys hung out and did "guy stuff"- ate pizza, rode bikes, played tag, and drank lots of soda.  I think they all had fun!

In February, we celebrated Caitlyn's 7th birthday.  I really can't believe she's 7!  She also had a party with friends from school.  They ate pizza and played My Little Pony.  One of the girls got Caitlyn sidewalk chalk, so they played with that, too.  They all had fun!

John and I went to the George Strait/ Martina McBride concert in PHX on Feb 3rd.  Now that was AWESOME!!!  We had really good seats.  I was raised on King George, but John wasn't.  He was a little unsure whether he'd like the concert or not, but he was converted!  Martina was just plain out of this world amazing.  George was his usual amazing self, too.  It was loud when Martina was on, but- holy cow- it turned deafening once George took the stage.  The entire stadium sang along to every song.  It. was. amazing!!!!  Not bad for an old cowboy from Texas, eh?

While we were at the concert, my brother and his girlfriend watched the kids.  He took them to Chuck E Cheese, and they had a TON of fun!  The kids absolutely adore Unky Sussin, and I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual ;)

I think that covers the major events.  Besides that, it's been the usual- school, work, etc.
